Presentation Night reveals a vibrant community spirit
Last night we held our Presentation Night for our November Sponsorship round. Thanks to all those who came along (including our directors Chris Brown and Jaqui Hall, and branch manager Adam Whitworth).
Our list of sponsorship recipients was a wonderful insight into all the work done, mostly voluntarily, to support our community.
Special congrats to Upper Yarra Ladies Probus Club, Linda for the Upper Yarra Donkey Festival, Vinnies in Warburton, Tom from the Upper Yarra Valley Historical Society, The River Valley Church for Carols, Alison from Koha Community Cafe, Claire from Catprint Theatre Productions, Mike from CEDA for the Xmas Street Party, and Bryan and Julie from the Powelltown Football Netball Club, who were successful on our first ever Special Effort Fundraising program and now have $25,000 towards their new lighting project at the grounds in Powelltown.
Well done to everyone and thank you for sharing your projects with the group. We trust there are new connections and opportunities now fostered by this chance to make personal contact!
