2025 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS ANNOUNCED
at our 25th Birthday Community Celebration – 21 February 2025
We took the opportunity to announce the recipients of our 2025 Geoff Vickers Youth Scholarships for First Year Uni or TAFE studies.
An initiative of UYCE Ltd our annual Scholarship program is made possible through the generous support of Community Banks Warburton and Yarra Junction and was first awarded in 2014.
Since its inception over $48,000 of financial support has been provided to 31 Upper Yarra students to pursue First Year Uni or TAFE Studies.
For 2025 we are excited to provide a further four students with financial support to pursue their academic dreams awarding Scholarships totalling $12,000.

JACINTA is from McMahons Creek and studied at Upper Yarra Secondary College
Receiving a $2,000 Scholarship to pursue a Bachelor Natural & Physical Sciences Degree at Monash University
JERIKAI is from Millgrove and studied at Upper Yarra Secondary College
Receiving a $5,000 Scholarship to pursue a Bachelor Creative Arts Degree at Deakin University
PEARL is from Yarra Junction and studied at Yarra Hills Secondary College
Receiving a $3,000 Scholarship to pursue a Bachelor Animal & Vet Biosciences Degree at Latrobe University
JACKSON is from Yarra Junction and studied at Upper Yarra Secondary College
Receiving a $2,000 Scholarship to pursue a Bachelor Society & Culture Degree at Monash University
We wish each of them the very best for the year ahead with their studies and trust that this financial assistance will allow them to follow their academic dreams with a little less stress.
