L2P- how sponsorship helps learner drivers ‘on the road’

The L2P program is an initiative to help match learner drivers with mentors in their community to support them in achieving 120 hours behind the wheel. Run by Council and with the help of sponsors, including the Warburton and Yarra Junction Community Bank branches (and Woori Community bank), the program has many success stories and we are happy to share this fabulous story today.
Pictured is Jeff Gill and his driving mentoree Jacinta with her brand new car, which Jeff helped her find and buy. Won’t be long now and Jacinta will be on her ‘P’s’ and we couldn’t be happier for her! Well done Jacinta and big nod of appreciation to Jeff whose volunteering goes way beyond expectations.
