Nordic Festival receives sponsorship
Upper Yarra Community Enterprise is proud to sponsor the Nordic Festival in Warburton as part of our community partnerships and funding program.
The Nordic Festival, held on 18 and 19 May 2013, is an annual event that showcases the beauty of the township of Warburton. With broad appeal to a wide variety of people, the festival provides an opportunity for local, national and international exposure.
The township also benefits greatly from this unique event that brings many visitors to the region who support our local business and services. Community support for this event is evident in the vibrant participation of the locals and the warm welcome shown to all who attend.
The Warburton and Yarra Junction Community Banks are an important part of community life in the Upper Yarra Region. Through the Upper Yarra Community Enterprise, over $2 million dollars has been invested to date into the local community supporting a range people-led initiatives that bring life to our towns.
We know all those who join in the festivities will enjoy the many events planned and acknowledge the Nordic Festival organisers for the vision and planning that has gone into ensuring the success of this event.
