  • Without sponsorship we couldn't operate – it’s that simple. With sponsorship, dozens of us get to create, perform, inspire, encourage and teach theatre, acting and live performance skills."Claire Bamford - Catprint Theatre Productions - Warburton
  • Our sponsors are all local and so not only has sponsorship drawn attention to our event but also to local businesses and the wider Warburton community. Without sponsorship it would not be possible to put on our event."David Hoffman – Community Bank® Warburton Up & Running
  • ECOSS is incredibly grateful for the major sponsorship support we have had for our events over the years of our existence. It’s meant we have been able to deliver sustainability education to the community and run big free accessible festivals at ECOSS in Wesburn and Ecotopia at Yarra Junction. We live in a low socio-economic area and without this support we would not be able to make our events so accessible."Chelsea McNab – ECOSS

BANKING IS OUR BUSINESS, COMMUNITY OUR PURPOSE!
Returning $5million plus to the Upper Yarra Community

REMEMBER EMILY HAY?
2023 Youth Scholarship recipient 🎓 from Warburton who graduated from Upper Yarra Secondary College.
Emily was enrolled in a Double Degree in Science at Monash University and after starting it in 2023 made the brave move to defer and take the rest of the year off to enter into the workforce allowing herself time to re-evaluate and reset her study goals.

Fast forward to 2025 and we caught up with Emily to see how 2024 played out for her.

🗨 My year went well settling into being a uni student and I am excited to be continuing my studies.

🗨 My advice to those looking to study would be to follow whatever makes you excited. I originally started a different degree, but my heart wasn’t in it. Since starting my education degree I am filled with excitement to become a teacher.

🗨 In 5 years I see myself having graduated from university and hopefully be going into my 3rd year as a teacher. I see myself setting up my very own primary school classroom, excited to begin a new year teaching.

🗨 I would like to thank June and the team at Yarra Junction and Warburton Bendigo Bank. They worked with me when I was struggling to decide what degree to do, and knowing I had their support and the scholarship money allowed me to stress less about the costs of my course.

Congratulations EMILY on completing your First Year of your new degree, and best wishes for following your new-found academic dream 👏🏻👏🏻

OUT & ABOUT
We caught up with our friends at Forever Friends Animal Rescue Sanctuary in Gladysdale today to check out what’s new and a progress update on the Community Grant they received last year.
They are doing an AMAZING JOB 🥰🥰
Thanks to Saskia and Alistair for showing us around (pictured with Bec Taylor our Community Bank Branch Operations Manager).

Please check out their FB page and website and consider joining up as a volunteer – they are just in Gladysdale and offer something for everyone and all ages. 🙏

Or you can get involved in their adoption program 🙏
Hercules, an Anatolian Shepherd x Sarplaninac cross breed dog is looking for a new home and you can check out all his details here.
www.savour-life.com.au/adopt-a-dog/search-now/view/86096

🔵 Hercules, affectionately known as "Herc," was found wandering as a stray, likely abandoned, and seen for over a week avoiding all human contact. Capturing him required the skill of an experienced darter, but since then, Herc has started to blossom into a wonderful companion.
🔵 Hercules is looking for a foster or a "foster with a view to adopt" home where he can continue to adjust to a normal life.

For Cat Lovers there is something too - you can find a friend to rescue in the Adopt-a-Cat program.🐱

Keep up the great work everyone!!! 💜💜 Look forward to hearing more.
