Diploma of Specialist Makeup Services at Victoria University
Brigid has been involved in local theatre productions for many years, both through her school and in local theatre company MISFIT. She has performed and written material for screen and stage and loves all the behind-the-scenes elements involved in a production, especially costume and make up, which has inspired her choice of coursework for this year.
She sees her diploma as an excellent stepping-stone towards gaining entry into a highly competitive Masters program in this field. Brigid has many talents both on and off the stage and has enjoyed a diverse range of interests from the school debating team to completing the Great Victorian Bike Ride and fundraising for the Cancer Council and various other charities. Family life has taught her to use her initiative and be resourceful and she has always maintained a high level of commitment to her studies.
This Scholarship will help Brigid finance travel, uniform and general living expenses and also contribute to the cost of a specialist makeup kit – course equipment essential to her studies.
