Wildlife warriors in the Upper Yarra Valley will have an extra incentive to save for the future with our new school banking program. When your child opens an account we will make a donation on their behalf to the Upper Yarra Wildlife Rescue Network, a local community organisation that rescues our precious sick and injured wildlife, just like Bob the wombat (pictured).
It’s as easy as 1.2.3.
- Simply open a Children’s Piggy Bank Account at your Warburton or Yarra Junction branch and;
- We will support your community and reward your child by:
- Donating $5 to the Upper Yarra Wildlife Rescue Network for each Piggy Bank Account opened.
- Depositing $5 into each new Piggy Bank Account so your child can start saving straight away, or
- Reward the loyalty of existing Piggy Bank Account holders by making a $5 deposit into their account next time they make a deposit, and;
- Win great prizes!
Our prize incentive program will encourage children to develop good savings habits, care for their environment and enjoy fun activities with their family!
How it works
Every time your child makes a deposit, they will be entered into a draw to win one double movie pass per primary school in June and December. (Drawn at the end of term 2 and term 4.)

At the end of the term 4, every child who has made a deposit during the year has a chance to win our amazing SLUMBER SAFARI EXPERIENCE for a family of 4 at the Werribee Zoo.
Slumber Safari offers a truly memorable overnight glamping (luxury camping) experience. The fully hosted experience will include close-up animal encounters, drinks at sunset, dinner, nighttime activities including a night walk and toasting marshmallows around the campfire, and a delicious supper. In the morning enjoy breakfast while watching the animals on the African savannah.
